Storm by Wileyfox's is as good as smartphones come in the price of £199

Wileyfox released their smartphone called Swift which is available for purchase for just £129. Just a few days ago, they launched their new smartphone called the Storm. It is their flagship phone but comes with the price tag of £199 only, which is much less than the other flagship phones in the market. Swift is a great phone but it has a feel of a budget phone. Whereas, the Storm makes an impression of a very expensive phone, although it costs just £70 more than the Swift.

Sam Murray, a mobile phone expert from the UK has been following the Wileyfox Storm closely; "Most people won't have heard of Wileyfox but they're certainly one to watch out for. With the Storm users are getting a high quality handset for just £199 and it doesn't look out of place when put up against higher end flagships. Keep your eyes on this company, they are going places."

It feels like the designers of OnePlus and Wileyfox’s Storm were similar as the phones resemble so much. The storm has a little oblong frame. It curves back lightly. Its texture is grainy which resembles One Plus2. It is quite easy to hold due to its gorgeous velvety back. Its edges are chamfered which makes it very comfortable to use even though it’s a large phone.

The device looks extremely stylish yet sturdy. Weighing around 155g, it is quite lightweight for its size although it does not look fragile or cheap. The brushed metal volume rocker and power key fits perfectly along with everything else on the phone. It might have taken a few things from the design of OnePlus but it still looks like a pure Wileyfox phone. The Storm has an angular foxhead logo and orange accents just like the Swift. It has a 20-megapixel camera with a bronze type of detail around it. It also features an 8-megapixel camera along with a flash at the front. There are capacitive navigation keys at the bottom bezel of the phone which makes the phone longer. It has a 1080p display which looks stunning. The colors are quite vibrant. They have definitely made a huge difference in the display of the Storm and the Swift.

It runs on 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor. It also offers 3 gigs of RAM and there are no lags when you use the phone. Its performance is excellent and there is no difficulty while browsing.

Wileyfox’s Storm is no doubt a great phone especially with such great specs and yet it is available in a very affordable price. Usually such phones have a deficiency somewhere but we did not find any major shortcoming in the phone. It would not be wrong to say that the device is quite good looking with great performance. We would definitely be keeping an eye on the future phones by Wileyfox.
